Brown rice is the same rice that we see on the shelves, but unpolished and unpolished. Brown rice is polished, but very weakly, to preserve its shell. Therefore, rice grains retain the color of milk chocolate, with a pleasant nutty flavor.
Brown rice is a high-carbohydrate product containing slow carbohydrates, which are permanently energized. The bran shell of rice is rich in fiber, which is necessary for normal activity of the gastrointestinal tract. Brown rice contains a large amount of B vitamins and folic acid.

Ingredients for portions 4:
- Brown rice - 200 gr.
- Chicken fillet - 400 gr.
- Carrots - 2 pieces.
- Onions - 1 pcs.
- Sunflower oil
- Salt - 2 tsp
- Seasoning for pilaf
Cut carrots into cubes.
Onion cut into large cubes.
Chicken cut into small pieces.
Fry onion in vegetable oil for 5 minutes.
Add carrots to onions and fry over low heat until soft carrots.
Add chicken to vegetables, mix and simmer for 10 minutes.
Pour the rice into a saucepan and fill it with boiled water, about 400 ml. Close our pilaf with a lid and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
Add the mixture for pilaf (pepper, dried garlic, barberry, paprika), cumin and salt, mix. After that, simmer another 15 minutes for all the liquid to evaporate.
At the end of the cooking period, our brown rice chicken pilaf is ready! Let it stand for 10 minutes under the lid and turn off the stove.
