About the beneficial properties of black or wild rice is written not enough. Frequent consumption of this cereal improves eyesight, heals hair and nails, helps with anemia and is important in postoperative rehabilitation, and all thanks to 18 amino acids that are contained in rice. I suggest you cook black rice with shrimps and vegetables.
Here is what we need:
- Black rice - 100 gr.
- Peeled prawns (I have langoustines) - 200 gr.
- Zucchini medium size - 1 pcs.
- Half bell pepper
- Quarter Lemon
- Salt to taste
- Dried ginger - 1 tsp
- Nutmeg - 1 tsp
- Sunflower oil for frying
First we pickle the shrimps in lemon juice, add some salt and ginger.
Put the bag of black rice in boiling salted water and cook according to the package instructions. In my case - 25 min.
Dice zucchini and Bulgarian pepper.
Pour the zucchini on a preheated frying pan, greased with vegetable oil, and fry over medium heat for 8 minutes.
Add pepper to zucchini and fry until ready, do not forget to mix.
It's time to fry the shrimp, on 3 minutes on both sides.
Shifts the finished shrimp to vegetables, salt, season with nutmeg and mix thoroughly.
Finished rice is thrown back into a colander, let the water drain and then transfer it to the pan. We mix all the ingredients, turn off the stove and let it brew under the lid of 5-10 minutes.
We spread black rice with shrimps and vegetables on plates and proceed to tasting. Enjoy your meal!
