Delicious, rich, fragrant, rich - it's all about the pearl barley soup !!!
Vegetables saturate the cereal with rich flavors and improve the taste, and meat broth enriches the body with useful trace elements. Turnip - a low-calorie product, rich in vitamins. It saturates, but does not allow to get overweight.
Soup like both adults and children! Let's start cooking;)
Ingredients for portions 4:
- Pearl barley - 100 gr.
- Potatoes - 2 pieces.
- Pork ribs - 400 gr.
- Carrots - 1 pc
- Onions - 1 pcs.
- Turnip medium size - 1 pcs.
- Vegetable oil
To start, wash the pork ribs in cold water, and then boil them in boiling water 40 min. Do not forget to remove the formed foam.
We wash the pearl barley and leave it to soak for 1 hour.
Onions, carrots, potatoes and turnips cut into small cubes.
Place the onion on a heated and greased skillet and fry for 7 minutes until golden brown.
Add carrots to onions, mix and simmer until the carrots are ready.
It is time to fry the turnips with vegetables.
Salt and season with coriander, rosemary and turmeric ready vegetables.
In the meantime, we take the meat out of the prepared broth and pour the cereal into it. Cook barley to readiness for 30 min.
At the end of the time, add potatoes to the pearl barley. Cook for 10 min.
Then add the diced meat.
Next fall asleep vegetables.
Salt the soup, add the chopped dill and leave to stew under the lid 15 min. (turn off the stove)
Spill soup with pearl barley and turnips on plates and help ourselves!
