В этом году Масленица выпадает на начало марта, поэтому все мы можем начать весну с праздничным настроением и отличным поводом для встречи с друзьями или родными.
Maslenitsa is celebrated every year at different times, but always last week before Lent. Every day of this week is special, with its own rules and procedures, with its own characteristics.
And today we have the 1 day of Maslenitsa - “Meeting”. There are, according to custom, matchmakers, everything happens on the territory of the house of the bride. From the very morning she is sent to her parents, and in the evening the father-in-law and her mother-in-law come after her, at the same time agreeing on a place of general celebration.
Let's please our relatives with unusual and very tasty buckwheat pancakes with milk. Buckwheat flour for our ancestors was an ordinary product, affordable and cheap, while wheat flour was expensive and for the general population was almost a delicacy. But times are changing and everything has become quite the opposite, buckwheat flour has become a rarity, although more and more outlets began to sell it, and this is very wonderful!
- Milk - 250 ml.
- Egg - 2 pieces.
- Buckwheat flour - 2 Art. spoons
- Wheat flour - 2 Art. spoons
- Sugar - 1 Art. spoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Vegetable oil - 1 Art. spoon
Whip milk with eggs, add sugar and salt. I beat with a mixer until the air foam.
In the egg-milk mixture add 2 type of flour, beat until smooth. We should have a liquid consistency.
Then add vegetable oil, stir and leave the mixture for 20 minutes.
Lubricate the heated pancake frying pan with oil and pour out the 1 soup ladle mix, evenly distribute over the surface and fry from the 2-s sides until golden brown.
Do not overdo it with vegetable oil, because in the pancake mix it is already present !;)
From the mixture we got 10 buckwheat pancakes with milk!
You can serve buckwheat pancakes with sour cream, honey, jam and butter, in any case it will be delicious!
Bon appetit and with Maslenitsa!
