Lentils are the seed of an annual legume plant. Lentils are eaten from prehistoric times due to the high content of vegetable protein. It is beautiful as for vegetarians, and is an excellent side dish for meat dishes.

- Lentils (Turkish) - 1 glass
- Bacon 150 gr.
- Carrots - 1 pieces.
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 / 2 pcs.
- Onion - 1 / 2 pcs.
- Celery - 2 Stalk
- Mixture of peppers
- Sunflower oil for frying
Cut carrots and onions into medium bars.
Pepper and celery also cut into small cubes.
In a preheated pan send carrots and onions. Fry until golden onions and half-ready carrots.
Next add pepper and celery. Simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes under a closed lid.
Fry bacon in small strips in a frying pan until crispy on both sides.
Add lentils to the vegetables in the pan and pour hot water over to fully cover the beans, do not forget to salt and season. Stew lentils 20 minutes on low heat.
Put the prepared dish on plates, decorate with bacon. Bacon can be added directly to the lentil itself and mix.
